Each week on this Channel 10 lifestyle series, we follow a couple of house hunters who join Walt to view three shortlisted properties based on their budget, wants and needs. We follow their journey and weigh up the pros and cons of each display home. At the end of the episode, the couple will choose which one they will Buy to build.

For the past three seasons, I've been working with Walt and the team whenever they shoot in NSW. As sound recordist on this show I run purely off radio mics and have to work quickly and efficiently to keep the day moving. Working with and miking up the couples, who have usually never been on screen before, requires respect and good communication skills. The outfits they choose to wear are never pre-planned so quick thinking and years of experience are essential when hiding the mics to achieve clean, quality sound.
