Alice writes a screenplay. Claude shouts at the dog. Written, Produced, and Directed by Edward Inchbold, this Lynchian short film is certainly the most abstract project I've worked on.

Shooting over two days in a small studio in Sydney's inner west provided all the usual noise problems that come with the nearby airport and immediate flight path. There was also the challenge of swinging a boom with such a wide shot used for a good portion of the film.

To overcome these problems, well placed radio mics were paired with a technique stolen from the sets of House of Cards, where a plate is shot of the empty space and the boom is then allowed to break the frame in order to get in close enough to capture the dialogue correctly.
