A narcissistic and arrogant high school teacher is forced to re-evaluate his life choices when it seems like his book will finally be published. Shot over a month, on location in Sydney's Blue Mountains, this black comedy feature film was a great pleasure to work on.

As sound recordist there were definitely some tricky scenes to capture, often with a lot of characters and complex blocking, and some tricky outdoor locations. This meant relying on radio mics, something I usually try to avoid but, in situations such as these, is unfortunately unavoidable. That said, with the excellent sound of the DPA mics I use exclusively, I was able to capture the great dialogue that was recorded for the film and avoid any ADR being needed!
