Manny Gets Censored is a quirky, heart-felt comedy about a young man who wakes up one morning to find that his life has literally been censored. Narrated by Hugo Weaving, we follow the story of Manny as he deals with his unusual dilemma.

During pre-production for this short film it was discovered that I would be unavailable for the shoot, prompting the decision to be made that most of the sound would be created in post. As the film has minimal dialogue, being driven almost entirely by the narration, this was seen as not too big a problem. The result is 99% of what you hear in the film was not recorded on set, with only two lines of dialogue making the final soundtrack. Every other sound was custom designed, recorded, created, and mixed specifically for this film.

By far one of the largest jobs I've ever undertaken, it proved to be one of the most rewarding and finest pieces of work I have done as well.
